VETERINARIAN FOR SMALL ANIMAL PRACTICE
About The Position
Red Bluff Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinarian for their established small animal practice, which has recently moved into a new building. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop surgical and medical skills within a family-owned practice that emphasizes work-life balance and a supportive team environment. The hospital, rebuilt in 2019, is over 6,000 square feet and equipped with modern facilities including digital radiography, in-house lab equipment, and ultrasonography. The practice has a 40-year history of delivering veterinary excellence and is looking for a compassionate professional to join their team during an exciting phase of growth, including an expansion into avian and exotic animal care.
Requirements
- Current Texas state license to practice veterinary medicine
- High proficiency for companion animal preventive care
- Genuinely cares for pets, fellow team members and clients

Responsibilities
- Develop surgical and medical skills.
- Provide companion animal preventive care.
- Prepare and deliver internal skills training to the entire team.
- Treat avian and/or exotic animals.
- Perform ultrasound, orthopedic, and advanced dental procedures.
- Work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Rotate Saturday mornings.
Benefits
- $16,000 signing bonus, paid at $2,000 per quarter for two years
- Competitive base salary of $130,000 annually or easily achievable commission - whichever is higher
