About The Position

Humane Colorado's Veterinary Hospital team members work at our North Denver location. Our team provides access to high quality veterinary urgent care using an incremental care approach for underserved populations in our community. This position plays a critical role in helping to prevent and alleviate suffering of animals in our community, maximize our impact, enhance the dignity of our clients, and work collaboratively with the veterinary community. Humane Colorado is expanding access to urgent care services for pets of families who otherwise wouldn’t have access to care. This position provides compassionate veterinary care to pets and their families who wouldn’t otherwise have access to care, supporting all services offered by the Community Veterinary Services department, including urgent care, spay/neuter in HQHVSN clinic, and vaccine clinics. Based at the Humane Colorado’s Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur, staff veterinarians provide many of our services “on view” for visitors of the CSU Spur campus. Visitors can interact with the medical team and hopefully inspire future veterinary professionals.
