Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
  • A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in small-animal general practice.
  • Experience with a wide range of medical and surgical care.
  • Experience with wellness exams, preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, radiology, in-house laboratory services, internal medicine, pain management, and client education.
  • Experience with urgent and same-day sick visits.
  • Experience with advanced orthopedic procedures (including TPLO and CCL repair) for those interested in developing or utilizing these skills.
  • New graduates are welcome and will benefit from mentorship.
  • Experienced veterinarians will enjoy autonomy and the ability to practice high-quality medicine with a loyal client base.

Responsibilities

  • Perform wellness exams and preventative care.
  • Conduct diagnostics and interpret results.
  • Perform soft-tissue and advanced orthopedic surgeries (including TPLO and CCL repair).
  • Provide dentistry services.
  • Manage internal medicine cases.
  • Implement pain management strategies.
  • Educate clients on pet health and care.
  • Handle urgent and same-day sick visits.
  • Collaborate with a supportive technical staff.
  • Focus on delivering thoughtful, high-quality medicine.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Lead patient care from diagnosis to treatment.
  • Clearly communicate findings and treatment plans to clients.
