About The Position

Essex Veterinary Hospital, located on the campus of Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School District, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing family. Training in Ultrasound, Dental, Surgery, and more will be provided through membership in the Veterinary Management Groups (VMG). The facility is modern and fully featured, conveniently located in Danvers, MA, off I-95.

Requirements

Solid surgery skills
Solid dental skills
Excellent bedside manners
Deep love of animals
Strongly positive team collaborator
Proficient in general practice and some urgent care
Ability to work as sole doctor for 2 days per week for 1 year or until growth in client base
Loves being in a learning environment
Committed to working in our local vicinity
Preference of 4+ years’ experience at a small animal practice, though new graduates will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Facilitate learning for the Veterinary Science students at Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School by creating teachable moments.
Provide input to the work, medical, and technical environment of the practice.
Perform normal veterinary workflow, including general practice and some urgent care.
Work as the sole doctor for 2 days per week for the first year or until client base growth necessitates otherwise.
