About The Position
PetVet Animal Hospital in Honolulu is seeking a confident and compassionate DVM to join their growing team. This is a full-service small animal hospital known for its collaborative culture, strong medical standards, and multigenerational relationships with the community. They are a teaching hospital that embraces learning and shared growth. This role is best suited for veterinarians with prior urgent care, emergency, and emergency surgery experience who enjoy clinical variety and being part of a team-focused environment. The hospital features modern technology including MLS Cold Laser Therapy, Chinese Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture, bi-weekly visiting radiologist, monthly visiting cardiologist, SmartFlow Digital Workflow, eVet cloud-based PIMS, Cubex Controlled Drug Management, Digital Radiography, Dental Radiography, Ultrasound, a large surgical suite with 2 surgical tables, and two dedicated dental tables. The role is supported by a skilled technical team with 24-hour technician coverage for triage and client communication.
Requirements
- Experienced veterinarian
- Proficient in Urgent Care, Emergency, and Emergency Surgery
- Enjoys a diverse and engaging caseload
- Communicates clearly and compassionately with clients
- Works well in a collaborative, multi-doctor setting
- Values autonomy with strong medical judgment
