About The Position
Dade City Animal Clinic offers a veterinarian a practice with a strong reputation for exceptional, personalized care and deep community trust. You’ll work alongside a supportive team that values building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets, and enjoy a busy clinic environment that challenges and grows your clinical skills. The clinic is a GP and Urgent Care practice with an average daily patient volume of 20-30+ and a support staff ratio of 2-3 techs per doctor. The case mix includes wellness, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and some hoof stock and exotics. The clinic is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, and a dental suite. The team culture is fast-paced, collaborative, teaching-focused, and high-touch.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
- Experience and comfort in a fast paced environment
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and client-education skills
- Open to seeing some hoof stock and exotic animals
Responsibilities
- Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of our medical systems and team.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.
- See a case mix including wellness, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, some hoof stock and exotics.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of skilled techs, dedicated CSRs, and strong leadership.
