About The Position

Copeland Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our Evening Emergency Services team. This role is ideal for a General Practice Veterinarian looking to transition into emergency medicine, urgent care, or expand their surgical and diagnostic experience without the burnout of overnight ER work. The position offers a consistent evening schedule, a diverse caseload including general practice and emergency patients, and collaborative mentorship. The hospital operates on a walk-in ER model, supported by an experienced veterinary team and highly trained technicians, providing opportunities for professional development and work-life balance.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.
Experienced General Practice or Emergency Veterinarian.
Active Tennessee veterinary license preferred (licensure transfer assistance available).
Interest in emergency medicine, urgent care, and surgery.
Surgical experience.
Strong communication and client service skills.
Team-oriented mindset and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Practice elevated medicine through a walk-in ER model.
Manage a diverse caseload, including general practice and emergency patients.

Benefits

Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 + production (no negative accrual).
Up to $50,000 sign-on bonus for experienced veterinarians.
