About The Position

Vista Hills Animal Hospital and El Paso Animal Urgent Care West are seeking an experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) for a unique hybrid General Practice (GP) and Urgent Care role. This position offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with GP clients while also experiencing the clinical variety and challenge of urgent care. The role involves working with same-day sick and injured patients, performing imaging and procedures, and handling cases requiring immediate attention, without the intensity of a traditional emergency room. You will work alongside skilled veterinary professionals at two established El Paso practices, benefiting from the support of a veterinarian-owned, operated, and led network that prioritizes clinical autonomy and a life-first culture.

Requirements

  • Experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Ability to practice in both General Practice and Urgent Care settings
  • Experience with wellness, preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery
  • Experience with same-day sick and injured patients, imaging, and procedures
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to building patient relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • No non-competes required

Responsibilities

  • Provide wellness and preventive medicine for general practice clients.
