About The Position
Acacia Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join their multi-doctor team in Tucson, Arizona. This role is suitable for a DVM with hands-on experience in surgery and medical exams, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply. Experience with exotics or an interest in orthopedics is a plus, but not required. The hospital emphasizes compassionate care for dogs, cats, and exotics, supported by an experienced technical team. They are an AAHA-accredited practice, family-oriented, and value work-life balance for their team members. The facility has been providing comprehensive care for over 10 years, focusing on patient-centered medicine and community relationships. They see small animals and exotics, and occasionally assist local wildlife rescues. The practice is equipped with digital radiographs, ultrasound, cold laser, warming surgical tables, five exam rooms, and an IDEXX in-house laboratory. Services range from general wellness checks to orthopedic surgery, TPLO, and dental procedures. Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program, or currently enrolled and expected to graduate from an accredited veterinary program.
- Licensed or license-eligible in Arizona.
- Hands-on experience and confidence in surgery and medical exams (new graduates are also considered).
