About The Position
Oxford Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian who is passionate about building lasting relationships with both clients and pets. While our patient base is primarily small animal, approximately 3% of our caseload includes exotics. Our ideal candidate values communication, collaboration, and providing personalized care. The schedule is flexible with no on-call or after-hours requirements, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. The hospital has been proudly serving its community since 1979, providing exceptional care as an AAHA-accredited small animal practice. Their experienced team is dedicated to creating a positive, collaborative environment for both clients and one another. They are dedicated to Fear-Free and Low-Stress handling for every patient and are equipped with modern technology, including digital radiography, digital dental X-ray, Cryopen, Tonopen, and laser therapy. They partner with a traveling ultrasound provider for advanced diagnostics.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Passion for building lasting relationships with clients and pets.
- Valuing communication, collaboration, and personalized care.
- Ability to handle small animals, with some experience or willingness to learn about exotics.
- Commitment to Fear-Free and Low-Stress handling techniques.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with modern veterinary technology (digital radiography, digital dental X-ray, Cryopen, Tonopen, laser therapy).
- Familiarity with advanced diagnostics through ultrasound.
