About The Position
Blue Cross Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary practice that has proudly served Royal Oak and the surrounding communities since 2010. Our team is committed to compassionate, dependable care and building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. The clinic is a small animal general practice with an average daily patient volume of 15-18, a support staff ratio of 2:1, and a case mix including preventive and wellness care, dentistry, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, sick visits, diagnostics, and exotic animal care. The practice utilizes technology such as digital radiography, dental radiography, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and a surgical suite. The team culture is described as compassionate, collaborative, client-focused, and committed to providing dependable care throughout every stage of a pet’s life.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Active Michigan veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and client-education skills
Nice To Haves
- An interest in exotic medicine is welcome but not required.
- Interest in surgery, dentistry, or exotic medicine is welcomed but not required.
