About The Position

Alamo Area Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join their thriving, full-service hospital. The clinic provides exceptional medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals and equine patients, featuring a fully equipped surgical suite, digital and dental radiography, and in-house IDEXX laboratories. Located in Castroville, TX, the clinic offers a blend of small-town charm and proximity to San Antonio, TX. The practice has a busy, well-paced GP caseload with strong technician and CSR support. The case mix includes wellness & preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and internal medicine. The clinic utilizes modern technology such as digital X-ray, in-house lab diagnostics, and modern surgical and monitoring equipment. The team culture is collaborative, mentorship-driven, and client-focused, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and respect.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
Texas veterinary license or eligibility.
Strong clinical skills.

Passion for client education and building lasting relationships.
