About The Position
Alexis Road Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal practice serving pets and families throughout the Toledo community. Our team is known for personalized medicine, strong client relationships, and compassionate care delivered with friendly Midwestern hospitality. We offer comprehensive preventive and medical care as well as same-day urgent care during regular business hours. The practice type is small animal general practice with same-day urgent care. The case mix includes wellness care, sick visits, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, imaging, pain management, and urgent care. The team culture is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on building lasting client relationships. The schedule offers flexible scheduling with an emphasis on work-life balance.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Active Ohio veterinary license or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication and client-education skills
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
Responsibilities
- Practice high-quality medicine and surgery with the support of an experienced team and broader medical network.
- Build variety into your day through preventive medicine, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and urgent care.
- Provide personalized care and build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
- Manage a varied caseload.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive culture as a collaborative teammate.
