About The Position

Animal Care Hospital & Wellness Center, a trusted name in veterinary care in Kula, Maui since 1994, is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our compassionate and collaborative team. Our facility features modern equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house diagnostics, and surgical suites. We care for a wide range of species including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, goats, and pocket pets. We offer an extensive suite of services that appeal to a variety of clinical interests, including wellness care, diagnostics, ophthalmology, dermatology, dentistry, surgical procedures, pet behavior counseling, pet nutrition, international health certificates, and end-of-life care. We also provide advanced services such as canine reproduction, chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and stem cell therapy. With an in-house pharmacy and full case management capabilities, our veterinarians are empowered to provide comprehensive care from start to finish. Our supportive team culture ensures no single-doctor days, fosters collaboration, and encourages professional growth through mentorship and continuing education.

Requirements

  • Veterinarian with passion for patient care and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a wide range of species including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, goats, and pocket pets.
  • Perform wellness care, diagnostics, ophthalmology, dermatology, dentistry, and surgical procedures.
  • Offer pet behavior counseling and pet nutrition advice.
  • Handle international health certificates and end-of-life care.
  • Administer advanced services such as canine reproduction, chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and stem cell therapy.
  • Utilize in-house pharmacy and full case management capabilities to provide complete care.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team and participate in mentorship and continuing education.
