About The Position

Chewy Vet Care is expanding in Colorado Springs and seeking full-time or part-time veterinarians to join their high-volume, collaborative practice. This role is suitable for experienced Associate Veterinarians or clinicians ready for leadership. The practices are designed by veterinarians, for veterinarians, featuring modern equipment, purpose-built technology, efficient workflows, and strong paraprofessional support. The position offers the opportunity to practice excellent medicine, build client relationships, and make an impact on a growing team. Requirements

  • DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program.
  • Active veterinary license in good standing, or the ability to obtain a Colorado license.
  • DEA and USDA accreditation, or the ability to obtain them.
  • Experience practicing general medicine and surgery.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to compassionate, evidence-based veterinary care.
  • Experience with soft-tissue surgery and complex medical cases is valued, but veterinarians with a range of backgrounds and clinical interests are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for dogs and cats.
  • Manage a diverse, high-volume caseload with support from an experienced veterinary team.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients through clear communication and education.
  • Collaborate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership.
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and learning-focused team culture.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and follow all regulatory requirements.
  • Continue developing clinical, surgical, and leadership skills.
