About The Position
Bear Branch Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, collaborative veterinarian to join its small-animal practice in Magnolia, Texas. The hospital is an established, 3,000-plus-square-foot facility with five exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, an isolation ward, an open treatment area, separate cat and kennel areas, and modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. The practice is 100% small animal and averages about 15 patients per doctor per day, with 30-minute wellness appointments and sick appointments scheduled for up to an hour. The veterinarian will work with experienced doctors and dedicated support staff in a collaborative practice that values thorough medicine, client relationships, and work-life balance. New graduates are welcome and receive structured mentorship, including shadowing, dedicated technician and receptionist support, extended appointments with schedule blocks, surgical shadowing, and gradually increasing surgical responsibilities. The schedule is a four-day work week consisting of three full clinic days and one 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. surgery shift. The position has no weekend, after-hours, or on-call responsibilities.
