About The Position
Animal Medical Center San Rafael is a spacious, 4,000 sq/ft modern practice located just north of San Francisco. With 3 exam rooms and all the amenities of a fully equipped hospital, our team provides outstanding patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment. The clinic is a Small Animal General Practice with an average daily patient volume of ~14.5 patients per doctor. The case mix includes general practice and soft-tissue surgeries such as spay/neuter, mass removal, laceration repair, cystotomy, gastropexy, enucleation, and general preventative wellness care. The clinic is equipped with 3 exam rooms, in-house labs (blood and urine), in-house digital radiology and ultrasound, dentals, and digital dental radiology. DVMs are backed by skilled technicians and assistants who are passionate, hardworking, and ready to support you. The clinic fosters a culture of teamwork, client communication, and medical excellence.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication and client-education skills.
- Previous veterinary experience (experienced veterinarians and new/recent graduates welcome).
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding patient care.
- Perform soft-tissue surgeries such as spay/neuter, mass removal, laceration repair, cystotomy, gastropexy, and enucleation.
- Conduct general preventative wellness care.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians and assistants.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of medical systems and team.
