About The Position

Animal Care Center Pearisburg, part of the VetEvolve network, is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join their team in Pearisburg, Virginia. This full-service location is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys leading the team as the sole doctor on shift, with strong support from experienced technicians/assistants and client relations team members. While shifts in Pearisburg are solo, a nearby sister hospital in Princeton, West Virginia, has multiple doctors available for collaboration. The current team includes two veterinarians who rotate between both locations. The practice is equipped with ultrasound, an endoscopy/rhinoscopy unit, laser therapy, and laser surgery equipment. Pearisburg, Virginia, offers a low cost of living, abundant outdoor recreational opportunities including proximity to the Appalachian Trail and fishing, a revitalized downtown, and is recognized as a safe community.

Requirements

Experienced small animal veterinarian.
Comfortable working solo shifts with a nearby team for collaboration.
Open to full or part-time.

Responsibilities

Lead the team as the sole doctor on shift in Pearisburg.
Collaborate with doctors at the nearby Princeton location as needed.
