About The Position

High Desert Animal Care Hospital, located in the beautiful Palmdale, CA area, is a fast-paced small animal practice that has been providing exceptional care for over 30 years. They handle everything from routine check-ups to complex surgeries, urgent walk-ins to challenging cases. The hospital fosters a dedicated, fun-loving team environment where members look forward to coming to work. As the Medical Director Veterinarian, you will be the pivotal leader of the hospital, responsible for leadership and staff management, client relations, medical quality assurance, and financial oversight in partnership with a Regional Manager. This role is integral to the success of the hospital.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Active veterinary state license, ability to obtain one

• Current DEA License preferred but not required
