About The Position
Animal Medical Center San Rafael is seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director for their modern, spacious 4,000 sq/ft practice located north of San Francisco. The clinic features 3 exam rooms and is fully equipped to provide outstanding patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment. The practice focuses on small animal general practice, including soft-tissue surgeries and preventative wellness care. They utilize in-house labs, digital radiology and ultrasound, and digital dental radiology. The team culture emphasizes teamwork, client communication, and medical excellence, providing a perfect environment for a veterinarian to grow and thrive.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication and client-education skills.
- Previous experience managing a multi-doctor practice and/or current work experience as Lead Veterinarian, Chief of Staff, or Medical Director is strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of medical systems and team.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians, dedicated CSRs, and strong leadership.
- Provide compassionate, client-centered care.
- Engage in client education.
- Manage a multi-doctor practice (strongly encouraged for applicants).
