About The Position

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Veterinary Medical Oncologist at an AAHA-Accredited Specialty Practice located in Knoxville. As a Board Certified or Residency Trained Medical Oncologist, you will join a dedicated and collaborative team, treating patients using advanced diagnostics and innovative therapies. Our state-of-the-art facility is committed to providing the highest level of veterinary care, offering access to advanced technology, a collaborative team of board-certified specialists, and unique therapies including radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and hyperthermia, as well as innovative treatments through clinical trials. We also have a fully staffed 24/7 Intensive Care Unit and over 20 skilled Licensed Veterinary Technicians supporting you daily. The practice is home to the Cure for Cats Thyroid Treatment Center and offers diverse and exciting caseloads.

Requirements

Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
A Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM) in Oncology, or a residency-trained veterinarian with practice limited to oncology.
A partnering collaborator who wants to work with great colleagues and is committed to practicing excellent medicine.

Responsibilities

Treat patients using advanced diagnostics and the latest, most innovative therapies.
Provide unique therapies including radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and hyperthermia.
Participate in innovative treatments available through clinical trials.
Collaborate with a team of board-certified specialists, including Oncologists, Surgeons with oncologic experience, and an Anesthesiologist.
Work with a diverse and exciting caseload.
