About The Position

Alamogordo Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service small-animal hospital serving the southern New Mexico community. The Medical Director role involves practicing exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of the medical systems and a dedicated team of skilled technicians, CSRs, and strong leadership. The practice focuses on wellness, preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery, utilizing modern technology such as digital radiography, a dental suite, an in-house pharmacy, and surgical support systems. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
Strong communication and client-education skills
Strong medical and surgical knowledge, particularly in soft tissue procedures

Prior leadership experience preferred
Experience developing medically driven protocols and SOPs
