Medical Director Veterinarian
About The Position
This is a hands-on clinical leadership position guiding a respected, multi-doctor hospital. The ideal candidate is someone who values community and diversity and is passionate about people and pets! This is a great opportunity for an experienced veterinarian with a desire to lead our practice. The incoming Veterinarian will be responsible for overseeing all professional services, implementing veterinary and patient care policies and procedures, licenses, and related matters, and will ultimately serve as “Veterinarian in charge.” You’ll have leadership influence while administrative operations are supported — allowing you to focus on medicine and mentorship.

Responsibilities
- Lead and uphold medical standards of care
- Mentor and support three Associate DVMs
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager on workflow and hospital initiatives
- Guide case management and treatment approaches
- Foster a positive, accountable team culture
- Maintain an active clinical caseload
- Overseeing all professional services
- Implementing veterinary and patient care policies and procedures, licenses, and related matters
- Serve as “Veterinarian in charge”
