About The Position

Animal Care Associates is seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited hospital as a Medical Director. This role offers medical autonomy, allowing the director to lead the team their way. The practice is a general veterinary clinic that sees small animals, exotics, and pocket pets. It is a 4-veterinarian clinic with dedicated support staff, closed on weekends, and emphasizes a great work-life balance. Services include routine care, in-house diagnostics, surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, X-ray, internal medicine, boarding, and more. The hospital is equipped with advanced tools and technology such as an Idexx laboratory, digital radiography, therapeutic laser, Doppler ultrasound, and radio-surgical equipment. Charleston, West Virginia, offers scenic beauty, a vibrant arts scene, and outdoor activities.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Active veterinary state license
• Proficient in general medicine, surgery and dentistry
