About The Position

Animal Care Associates is seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited hospital as a Medical Director. This role offers medical autonomy, allowing the director to lead the team their way. The clinic is a 4-veterinarian practice with dedicated support staff, focusing on general veterinary practice for small animals, exotics, and pocket pets. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art Idexx laboratory, digital radiography, companion therapeutic laser, Doppler ultrasound, and Ellman radio-surgical equipment. They are committed to providing high-quality medical and surgical care with outstanding client service. The clinic is closed on weekends, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
Proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
Active veterinary state license.
Experience needed.

Nice To Haves

Current DEA License preferred but not required.
USDA Accreditation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead the team with medical autonomy.

Perform general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
