About The Position

Mauer Animal Clinic is seeking a compassionate, motivated Medical Director to join our well-established small animal practice in Las Vegas. For over 50 years, we’ve built a reputation for personalized care, strong client relationships, and high-quality medicine. The clinic is a General Practice (GP) serving the Las Vegas community for decades with a loyal client base. The clinic offers a collaborative team environment with experienced veterinarians and highly trained support staff. The facility is fully equipped with diagnostics, surgery, dental care, and more. The clinic offers flexible scheduling, a positive culture, and a supportive, respectful, and team-oriented atmosphere. The average daily patient volume is 16/day with a 2.1 tech hours per patient seen. The case mix includes wellness, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. The clinic utilizes technology such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house labs. The team culture is collaborative, teaching-focused, and high-touch.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
  • Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
