About The Position
PIPESTONE Veterinary Services is seeking a Veterinarian Intern interested in hands-on experience in swine veterinary medicine. The intern will work alongside experienced veterinarians and gain exposure to swine health, production, and research, with opportunities to experience mixed animal practice. The role provides real-world experience in veterinary skills and animal health and production activities. The intern will also learn from swine veterinarians and industry leaders in a collaborative, agriculture-focused environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in veterinary school with 1–2 years completed
- Reliable transportation required
Nice To Haves
- Livestock experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to swine veterinary practice and production systems
- Assist with animal health and production activities
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time
- Follow biosecurity and safety protocols
- Develop veterinary skills through real-world experience
