About The Position
McEwen-Frontenac Animal Hospital, a well-established veterinary practice in Kingston, is seeking an Associate DVM to join their dedicated team. They are proud to provide high-quality, personalized care to their patients and clients and are looking for someone who shares their commitment to exceptional medicine and teamwork. This is a replacement position. Kingston offers a historic, welcoming city with urban amenities and beautiful waterfront, a vibrant arts and culinary scene, outdoor recreation, and easy access to major cities. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience, proficiency in surgical and dental procedures, and confidence in independent decision-making, managing complex cases, and responding to emergencies. The DVM will be primarily responsible for clinical care, leveraging medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine and leadership.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience as a Veterinarian (DVM).
- High standard of medical expertise.
- Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
- Confidence in making independent decisions.
- Ability to manage complex cases.
- Ability to respond to emergencies.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of application.
