About The Position
Blue Sky Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinarian (DVM) to join their dedicated, compassionate, and fun-loving team. The hospital has been serving the North Bay area for over 20 years and values collaboration and community. The new DVM will work with 3 RVTs to provide high-quality veterinary care. This is a new position in a growing hospital community. North Bay offers a blend of small-town charm and vibrant lifestyle with access to outdoor activities and a dynamic cultural scene.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience.
- High standard of medical expertise.
- Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
- Confidence in making independent decisions.
- Ability to manage complex cases.
- Ability to respond to emergencies.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.
- Work with RVTs to offer veterinary care.
- Perform surgical and dental procedures.
- Make independent decisions.
- Manage complex cases.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Leverage medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine and leadership for the team.
