About The Position
Englehart Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join their highly skilled team. This is a replacement position in the Town of Englehart, a small and family-oriented community. The hospital provides a wide range of services including wellness exams, client education, dentistry, rehabilitation, in-house grooming, various surgeries, in-house diagnostics, and emergency services. The team is collaborative, passionate, and known for its warm reception. Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience as a Veterinarian (DVM).
- High standard of medical expertise.
- Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
- Confidence in making independent decisions.
- Ability to manage complex cases.
- Ability to respond to emergencies.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a General Practice Registered Veterinarian license in Ontario at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for animals.
- Perform wellness exams.
- Conduct client education.
- Perform dentistry procedures.
- Provide rehabilitation services.
- Perform grooming.
- Perform various surgeries.
- Run in-house diagnostics in the laboratory.
- Provide services for emergencies.
- Leverage medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine.
- Provide leadership for the team.
