About The Position

Englehart Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join their highly skilled team. This is a replacement position in the Town of Englehart, a small and family-oriented community. The hospital provides a wide range of services including wellness exams, client education, dentistry, rehabilitation, in-house grooming, various surgeries, in-house diagnostics, and emergency services. The team is collaborative, passionate, and known for its warm reception. Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience as a Veterinarian (DVM).
  • High standard of medical expertise.
  • Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
  • Confidence in making independent decisions.
  • Ability to manage complex cases.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies.
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a General Practice Registered Veterinarian license in Ontario at the time of application.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care for animals.
  • Perform wellness exams.
  • Conduct client education.
  • Perform dentistry procedures.
  • Provide rehabilitation services.
  • Perform grooming.
  • Perform various surgeries.
  • Run in-house diagnostics in the laboratory.
  • Provide services for emergencies.
  • Leverage medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine.
  • Provide leadership for the team.
