About The Position
Amberlea Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join their highly skilled team in Pickering, ON. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of experience, demonstrate a high standard of medical expertise including proficiency in surgical and dental procedures, and be confident in making independent decisions, managing complex cases, and responding to emergencies. Primarily responsible for clinical care, the DVM will leverage their medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine and leadership for the team. This is a part-time role, approximately 17 hours per week.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience
- High standard of medical expertise
- Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
- Confident in making independent decisions
- Ability to manage complex cases
- Ability to respond to emergencies
- Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of application
