About The Position
Pet Specialists of Monterey (PSM), a BluePearl Hospital, is an AAHA certified, state-of-the-art, 24-hour emergency and referral hospital located in Monterey, on the beautiful central coast of California. We are seeking a Full-time residency trained or board certified (DACVECC) critical care specialist to join our team of thirteen doctors, including seven specialists. Our facility features a full in-house laboratory, digital radiographs, CT scan, ultrasound, color-flow doppler, telemetry unit, endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and electrosurgical equipment. The environment is face-paced, challenging, and collaborative. With board-certified specialists in critical care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, and oncology, the ideal candidate will be hard-working, motivated, enthusiastic and able to work harmoniously and effectively with other doctors, staff, and referring veterinarians. As a teaching hospital, all doctors play a role in training new graduates through our rotating small animal internship program.
