This is a part-time, 20-hour per week position with flexible hours. The role involves administering a peer mentor program within a Veterans Treatment Court (VTC). The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting veterans, understand the importance of mentor relationships, possess good networking skills, and maintain confidentiality. The Veterans Treatment Court Mentor Coordinator is responsible for the administrative work and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the assigned peer mentor program within a VTC. This includes organizing and facilitating mentor recruitment and training, ensuring adherence to policies, and acting as a liaison between mentors and the VTC. The role also involves collaborating with the VTC team on strategic planning, building relationships with community organizations and stakeholders, attending meetings and conferences, developing quality assurance programs, and performing community outreach and data collection.
