About The Position

Rothman Animal Hospital in Collingswood, NJ has been proudly caring for pets since 1955, providing compassionate veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotics with a strong commitment to our community and the families we serve. Our multi-doctor practice combines decades of experience with advanced technology, including a state-of-the-art surgical suite, digital and dental X-ray, and laser therapy, while also offering grooming and boarding services. We are looking for an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our team.

Requirements

An experienced Certified Veterinary Technician with 1-2 years in practice
Confidence in blood draws, IV placement, anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
A dependable and adaptable team player who brings energy and positivity to work

Responsibilities

Assist in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics
Support our DVMs during appointments, exams, treatments, and procedures
Perform hands-on tasks including drawing blood, catheter placement, and injections, take radiographs and performs EKGs
Communicate clearly with clients on treatment plans, patient updates, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with all team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow
