About The Position

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years working in a Veterinary Hospital
  • Basic knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common medical conditions.
  • Experience with handling and restraining animals safely and humanely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for explaining treatment plans and post-care instructions to pet owners clearly and compassionately.
  • Organizational abilities help manage multiple patients and maintain detailed medical records, which are critical for ongoing treatment and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples such as blood, urine, and tissue.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments to animal patients under veterinary supervision.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and patient progress throughout hospitalization.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and treatment areas.
  • Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, nutrition, and general animal health.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
  • Support the hospital team in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
