About The Position

You will be working alongside highly skilled, caring individuals who are deeply committed to the welfare of all pets. W e focus on the long-term health of pets, including dental health, our veterinarians bring expertise to every aspect of a pet’s care. Of course they don’t do it alone, your fellow Nurses are key to ensur ing that both clients and their cherished pet feel comfortable during a visit to our clinic and cover many roles to assi s t in pet health care. From puppy school to senior care, we cherish the opportunity to accompany our clients and their pets on their life journey. About the Job: You'll have a rotation between surgical nursing and reception shifts - so you'll always have a variety! Whether it is creating bonds with our clients in reception, performing nurse consultations or focusing on our hospital and surgery patients. We plan our days ahead, so you will always have a clear understanding of what your day will look like! Requirements

• Flexible
• Reliable
• Able to work 30 hours a week, including 1 in 4 Saturday ’s (8-2pm) plus some staff leave coverage
• Passionate about patient care and always advocate for best practice
• Open minded and eager to learn new ways to work!
• Proactive!
• Able to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Cert IV in Vet Nursing or equivalent
• 3+ years of clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Creating bonds with our clients in reception
• Performing nurse consultations
• Focusing on our hospital and surgery patients
• Managing the reception area
• Assisting the vets in between consults
• Preparing for the next surgery
