About The Position

TLC Animal Hospital is hiring for a Veterinary Assistant/ Kennel Technician to add a part-time person to our amazing team. Located in Palm Harbor, with top-rated schools in the area and just a mile from the beach. We are a well established small animal clinic open for more than 25 years, providing state-of-the-art in-house medical diagnostics, preventive health care, surgery, and radiology. Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals
• Excellent communication skills
• Patient and caring personality
• Ability to follow instructions properly
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (ex. lift up to 50lbs)

Responsibilities

• Caring for boarding patients
• Keeping all areas of the hospital clean
• Assisting the veterinarians and technicians in examinations
• Assisting in answering phone calls
• Assisting in the lab
• Assisting in surgical and dental procedures pre-op and post op
