Requirements

Veterinary assistant experience, including knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology
Proficient venipuncture skills
Ability to multitask well and think critically on your feet
Strong time management and the ability to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations
A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care, with clear and effective communication skills

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology
Obtain detailed patient histories, and provide excellent patient care and monitoring
Perform proficient venipuncture
Multitask well and think critically in a fast-paced environment
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients
Remain composed during stressful and emotional situations
Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture
