About The Position
In this role, the Vessel Fitter will assemble various vessel detailed parts, with the ability of running basic shop tools (grinders, chippers, buffers, torch, overhead crane, & forklift). Ensure proper placement and alignment according to drawings and instructions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or 1 to 2-year technical diploma/vocational certificate desired.
- Minimum of 1 - 10 years of relevant industrial experience required.
- Must have general knowledge of pipe ISO’s.
- Must be qualified in GMAW.
- Demonstrates knowledge on the pipe fitting processes for industrial piping.
- Requires oversight on fitups.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Primary functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Works under immediate supervision.
Responsibilities
- Has some degree of general knowledge of all aspects of the Fabrication Department.
- Basic knowledge of Vessel drawings.
- Bridge tack with GMAW.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.

- Perform other duties as required.
