Vertical Construction Project Manager

Prairie LandworksMcPherson, KS
Onsite

About The Position

Prairie Landworks is a growing contractor delivering civil infrastructure, industrial, and commercial building projects across central Kansas. We provide complete construction solutions — from site development and utilities to commercial buildings and industrial facilities. We don’t just build to plan and spec — we build with character and integrity, delivering the quality we would expect if we were building for ourselves. Unlike many general contractors, we self-perform significant portions of our work — including earthwork, utilities, structural and flatwork concrete, and select industrial scopes. This allows us to maintain control, accountability, and predictable performance on our projects. Teamwork, optimism, and hard work are at the heart of everything we do to improve lives through construction in our communities. We are seeking a Project Manager – General Construction who embodies our core values of Grit – We persevere and learn through all challenges. Safety – We are committed to protecting one another. Integrity – We do not sacrifice our moral and ethical code. Relationships – We work together to create greater outcomes. Accountability – We take ownership. As a General Construction Project Manager, you will lead commercial and building projects from preconstruction through closeout — coordinating both subcontractor scopes and self-performed civil and concrete work. Typical projects may include: Commercial buildings, Municipal facilities, Industrial support buildings, Renovations and additions, Negotiated and alternative delivery projects. You will be responsible for full project ownership — cost, schedule, documentation, and field alignment.
