About The Position
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Verification Specialist. This role is part of the Texas Hip and Knee FW department, located at 6301 Harris Parkway - Suite 300 Fort Worth, Texas 76132. The department offers incentive opportunities, strong teamwork and collaboration, and no weekends or nights.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in a healthcare environment (PREFERRED)
Responsibilities
- Ensure insurance coverage by telephone
- Interviews patients and completes all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance
- Have a knowledge of insurance industry and basic medical terminology/abbreviations
