About The Position
Join us as a Venue Technician and play a vital role in delivering high-quality technical support for events at Ashton Hall and other council venues. Your expertise will ensure every concert, performance, and function runs smoothly, safely, and professionally, enriching Lancaster’s vibrant community life.
Requirements
- Solid experience with digital sound and lighting.
- Understanding of stage management and safety.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
- Pride in working collaboratively.

- Ownership of delivering safe, high-quality event support.
- Commitment to working varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate sound, lighting, and AV systems for a variety of live events.
- Assist with staging and equipment setup.
- Liaise closely with hirers and performers to meet their technical needs.
- Maintain equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues.
- Support the Venue Manager to provide a welcoming and professional service.
