About The Position

BankNH Pavilion (BNHP) is seeking a Venue Sustainability Crew member to support its sustainability program. This role is crucial for Live Nation’s resource recovery and circularity program, focusing on landfill diversion through waste sorting, educating staff and fans, and contributing to the venue's sustainability culture. The position works under the Venue Sustainability Manager (VSM) and is part of the venue operations team, with a priority on achieving zero waste targets. This is a seasonal, part-time role with variable hours depending on the show schedule and business needs throughout the season.

Requirements

  • Position requires about 90% of the time spent walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ with about 75% of that time spent sorting materials
  • Not afraid to get dirty or be around unpleasant odors
  • Ability to work outside in variable weather
  • Strong time management skills to show up on time and work late hours
  • Dedication to participate in something that will have a real and immediate impact to the cause

  • Daytime availability – most of our sorting happens the day after a show takes place

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in events, zero waste events are a plus
  • Foundational understanding of recycling, composting, and material circularity, or have a strong willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Venue Sustainability Crew on-boarding and training
  • Assist in the mid and post-show sorting process of all recycling, composting, and landfill materials
  • Be available to work show days and non-show days on both weekdays and weekends to ensure all waste is sorted and diverted
  • Assist the Venue Sustainability Manager and Supervisor with educational support to all crew members and fans
  • Maintain a clean sorting area and support the post-show pick after each event
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Venue Sustainability Manager on an as-needed basis
  • Responsible for entering availability 3 weeks in advance through the ABIMM system
  • Communicate with the supervisor should availability change
  • Ensuring that time worked is accurately captured through the ABIMM system
