About The Position
BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) is seeking a Venue Sourcing Consultant to lead sourcing, contracting, and budget support for meetings and events. This client-facing role requires strategic thinking, multitasking, and the ability to deliver exceptional experiences while focusing on savings, compliance, and deadlines. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, sharp, and composed under pressure.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of venue sourcing and/or hotel conference management experience
- International sourcing and contracting experience across a variety of program types
- Strong working knowledge of Cvent, Excel, Google Workspace, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and Apple iOS
- A knack for innovative, strategic thinking and turning client needs into practical sourcing solutions
- Ability to stay sharp, collaborative, and cool under pressure

Responsibilities
- Sourcing hotels and non-hotel venues
- Building RFPs and presenting strong venue options aligned with client goals, budgets, and timelines
- Negotiating contracts, concessions, and added value while managing risk and ensuring compliance
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Building trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams through clear communication and a consultative approach
- Maintaining accurate budgets, savings data, commissions, and Cvent records from kickoff through final turnover
