About The Position

At High Spirits Hospitality, we create unforgettable experiences through our hospitality brands. As the Venue Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking to book events at our venues. You will manage the sales process for a variety of events, from weddings to corporate functions, guiding clients with energy and strategy. This role is ideal for an organized, driven individual with strong sales skills and a passion for client satisfaction in a dynamic environment. The position involves frequent evening and weekend work, balanced with flexible scheduling and discretionary time off to ensure work-life balance. Support will be available from the current sales manager who is transitioning to another role.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant role, specifically in event sales, planning, or coordination.
  • Proven track record of selling, planning, and executing a high volume of events.
  • Ability to lead with respect and inclusivity.
  • Remarkable leadership skills and the ability to guide clients and teammates with confidence.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and other technology.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and capable of creative problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work frequent evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Physically able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Clean criminal background.

Responsibilities

  • Engage accounts effectively from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, social media, email, and web submissions.
  • Qualify leads through engaging phone conversations.
  • Schedule qualified leads for in-person or virtual consultations.
  • Conduct successful in-person and virtual consultations.
  • Follow up with leads after consultations, addressing questions and nurturing relationships until booking.
  • Issue contracts and payment schedules for booked clients.
  • Refer booked clients to the Event Planning Team for ongoing planning support.
  • Assist the Event Planning Team with client needs as required.
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Division to ensure timely payments, deposits, and client billing.
  • Track lead progress using CRM tools.
  • Grow the corporate book of business through cold calling, nurturing, and engaging corporate leads.
  • Meet monthly and annual sales goals, as well as financial and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Mitigate client conflicts according to company standards and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain familiarity with all company policies, products, and services.
  • Attend networking events, training, and development sessions.
  • Periodically work events in a managerial role or greet clients beforehand.
  • Supervise 2-8 hourly staff members when managing an event.
