This requires thorough product and event knowledge (food, wine, and liquor) and proficient in service procedures. Cameron Mitchell Premier Events is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Venue Sales Assistant to support both the Sales Team and Venue Operations. This role is essential to ensuring seamless event execution—from initial client coordination through day of event support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering genuine hospitality and guest experiences while supporting administrative and sales processes behind the scenes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods when supporting events
  • Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • A valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospitality, events, administrative, or customer service experience
  • Experience with Caterease or similar event software
  • Experience with Prismm or similar diagram software

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and vendors to coordinate access to buildings for deliveries and pick-ups
  • On site for pre and post event coordination
  • Ensure clients, vendors, and guests adhere to all facility policies
  • Daily venue perimeter checks
  • Set up sales team for venue tours
  • Support communication between sales, operations, and vendor partners
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including décor, signage, and specialty items
  • Ensure event spaces are organized, clean, and presentation-ready
  • Support event flow and timelines as directed
  • Greet clients, guests, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Provide day-of-event logistical support as needed
  • Uphold venue standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety
  • Uphold Cameron Mitchell Premier Events’ culture, philosophy, and standards of excellence
  • Follow proper timekeeping policies and procedures
  • Cover reception area as needed; answer and screen calls, distribute messages professionally
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments and meetings
  • Maintain electronic and physical client files
  • Create and update event folders
  • Print and prepare materials for BEO meetings
  • Create and update floor plans; maintain detailed event notes
  • Send final BEOs to internal teams
  • Create menu cards and food tags as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to the Event Producers
  • Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned
  • Collect payment information and process payments
  • Update and maintain payment details in Caterease
  • Ensure accuracy of client records and event documentation
