About The Position

Cosm is a global technology company that brings experiences to life in immersive environments, helping partners create spaces and content that blur the lines of real and virtual across Sports and Entertainment, Science and Education, and Parks and Attractions. Cosm was born from the fusion of Evans & Sutherland, Spitz, Inc., and Cosm Immersive. The Sales Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the Venue Sales team, sharpening their skillset and building real-world sales experience. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full sales cycle, including prospecting, data analysis, lead management, proposal development, and event execution, helping Cosm secure high-impact partnerships in sports, entertainment, and private events. Interns will develop client-facing communication skills, learn industry best practices, and strengthen their understanding of sales strategy in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior at the start of the program.
  • Available to work in a Cosm Office (hybrid).
  • Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in immersive technology and content.
  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new partnerships or client opportunities.
  • Assist in managing the CRM database (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring data integrity and updating contact records.
  • Help create sales materials, presentations, and proposals for client meetings.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in entertainment, sports, and cinema to inform sales strategy.
  • Support lead generation campaigns and outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, content) to align on client goals.
  • Attend sales meetings and take notes or summarize key takeaways.
  • Track pipeline activity and generate weekly reports for leadership.
