About The Position

As a Venue Sales Specialist at Walters Hospitality, you will be a key driver of the company's success, leveraging your dynamic personality and client-centric approach to book out their remarkable portfolio of venues. This role is ideal for an energetic, go-getter who thrives on surpassing goals and has a proven track record of success. You will be responsible for showcasing unique properties and selling solutions for clients celebrating significant life milestones, including engagements, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or corporate events. The company is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong closing skills and a history of achieving exceptional results. Your ability to analyze client needs, build rapport, and overcome challenges will be a valuable asset to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience
  • 2+ years sales experience, strongly preferred from hospitality, leisure/travel, IT, or healthcare
  • Proven experience and track record in achieving strong sales results & expertise in customer service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Lifting up to 15lbs and walking/standing for 8-10 hours
  • Submit/complete background check
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify

Responsibilities

  • Manage lead-generated sales cycles, from rapid responses to inquiries to securing signed contracts
  • Utilize your excellent communication skills via email, phone, and text to connect with potential clients and build relationships
  • Continuously engage with potential couples, ensuring their inquiries are addressed and guiding them to a decision
  • Lead potential clients on inspiring property tours, showcasing the unique magic of our venues
  • Employ your persistence and negotiation skills to finalize contracts and exceed client expectations
  • Consistently meet and exceed designated sales goals by effectively managing and converting leads
  • Visit various venues within the region to enhance client experiences
  • Prepare contracts with precision, collect payments, and secure initial signatures
  • Keep detailed records of daily sales activities in our CRM system to ensure no opportunity is missed
  • Provide exceptional verbal and written communication to ensure a seamless experience for clients
