About The Position

State Farm's Innovation Group is looking to for passionate students to join our Summer Internship Program! As a Ventures Analyst Intern, you will be a part of a team that empowers innovative companies to create a better future for us all. Our goal is to find better ways to meet the needs of our incredibly diverse customer base. So, we invest in companies that disrupt conventional modes of operation to help each of us live smarter and safer lives.

Requirements

Current college Freshman and Sophomores majoring in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent majors including but not limited to Business Information Systems, International Business, Insurance & Risk Management, Economics, Innovation/Entrepreneurship and related majors.
Demonstrated interest in investing, corporate finance and/or venture capital
Drive and initiative to lead and affect positive change
Leadership skills through extracurricular and professional endeavors
Ability to thrive in a team environment, both in-person and virtual
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
A can-do attitude, and someone who loves to have a bit of fun!
The ability to work in an environment that emphasizes information sharing, collaboration, teamwork, mutual respect, and integrity.
Current college Freshmen who will graduate Spring 2030 or current Sophomores who will graduate Spring 2029.
Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship.
Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity.
