This analyst position will support the alignment execution of Business Development and Corporate Development initiatives, enabling State Farm to best access customers through supported alternative approaches and products.

Requirements

  • Current 2029 and 2030 graduating class majoring in business (e.g., marketing, finance, business administration) communications (e.g., journalism, communications, writing) or related majors.
  • GPA 3.5/4.0 preferred qualification
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to organize information, identify key takeaways, make connections, and develop logical conclusions.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including attention to detail, synthesizing information, clearly conveying insights, and tailoring communication to different audiences.
  • Interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to foster productive relationships, ask thoughtful questions, incorporate feedback, and work effectively with others.
  • Organizational skills, including prioritization, time management, attention to detail, managing multiple assignments, and follow-through.
  • Learning agility and resourcefulness, including comfort with ambiguity, the ability to learn unfamiliar topics quickly, and proactively using available information, tools, and resources to move work forward.
  • Current college Sophomore or Freshman who will graduate in 2029 or 2030.
  • Students who apply MUST be returning to school for at least one semester following the summer internship.
  • Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship.
  • Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity.

  • Experience analyzing data and synthesizing key insights.
  • Exposure to business, strategy, finance, marketing, economics, insurance, or related coursework or experience.
